Beyond: Natural, Holistic and Organic

May 02, 2024

Google the terms “natural,” “organic,” or “holistic” skincare products or treatments and Google will deliver up several million results.

Interestingly though, few people search for “energetic” skin care products or treatments. This actually is surprising since there are few places in the U.S. where we won’t encounter advertisements for acupuncture services or experience an enormous proportion of the population that is aware of and often seeking “alternative”  or “holistic” medical practitioners, most of whom bring an energetic approach to their practice.

Could it be that people getting acupuncture treatments don’t realize the premise of such treatment is based on the very notion of the “energetic” aspect of the human body?

There are many medical traditions based on the foundational premise that the body is not only vital matter but vital energy as well. In fact, it is vital energy that makes matter vital.

These practices are referred to as “energy medicines.” They include, amongst others, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda of India.

Both approaches are quite active in their countries of origin and even though of ancient roots they have expanded broadly in every part of the world. They received a boost with the findings of quantum physics which established the relationship between matter and energy.

A synonym for energetic medicine is “vibrational medicine.”

Richard Gerber, M.D. wrote in Vibrational Medicine:

“The physical body is actually a complex network of interwoven energy fields.” And, “If we are beings of energy, it follows that we can be affected by energy.”

Deepak Chopra, M.D. wrote in Grow Younger, Live Longer:

“Your body is a field of energy, information, and intelligence, capable of perpetual healing, renewal, and transformation.”

Since those books were published, many other other doctors and scientists have written on the subject of energy medicines as a holistic approach that points toward a greater understanding of our bodies and how to achieve balance in our life to enjoy a greater sense of wellness.

All energy medicines focus on a proper flow and quality of vital energy. Energetic imbalance or “blockage” leads to dis-ease and a variety of ailments as much as emotional disturbances.

Modern lifestyle is a constant source of stress which, in turn, can cause energetic imbalance. To know more about managing stress and living a lifestyle that promotes energetic balance is a must for anyone wanting to live to their highest potential.

Energetic Skincare Naturally, by  Jon Canas, outlines the reasons why a skincare regimen based on balancing vital energy with natural, energetic, and holistic skincare products enhanced by a number of other holistic habits will contribute to your sense of wellness.

To ignore the presence and effect of vital energy is akin to living in the nineteenth century while enduring the stress of the twenty-first.

Of course, still today, many medical doctors have no patience with this vital energy idea, but throughout human history, resistance to scientific shifts has always been resisted only to yield a few generations later although there is always a remnant of naysayers.

Since 1979, PHYTO5 skin care products have been formulated in Switzerland with high quality natural essential oils that have not only well-known therapeutic properties but energetic ones as well.

Following the principles of the five elements of TCM, these products have a track record of vital energy balancing. They are made with natural ingredients since vital energy can only come from natural products. Indeed, anything not coming from nature–from the earth and the plants of the earth– would be synthetic and possess no vital energy property.

Although using natural, and/or organic skincare products is a better alternative to traditional beauty products made of synthetic ingredients, it is still insufficient and although many products are referred to as “holistic,” they are probably misrepresented.

To treat the skin in a truly holistic way one cannot forget the energetic or vibrational aspect of our bodies and, therefore, of our skin.

Beyond “natural,” seek out “energetic” skincare (or as many might name, “vibrational” skincare) as these will lead you to the only truly holistic solution to skincare.
